1- Saqqara

Saqqara area is about 30 km south of Cairo, it has numerous Pyramids. Including the famous Djoser or step pyramid and numbers of mastabas. You can do a half-day tour from your accommodation in Cairo to the Saqqara area. All that you need is a car with a driver and you can choose which pyramid/mastabas you want to visit and buy the ticket at the entrance. 2- Badrashin

Badrashin is another non-touristic spot for ancient Egyptian lovers. It is located 40 km south of Cairo.
